LEASING SPECIALIST POSITION The Leasing Specialist is an individual that provides a service to prospective apartment residents by matching them to apartment homes that best suit their needs and lifestyle. Your service is evaluated in terms of the prospect's measure of your courtesy, knowledge, commitment and reliability. The major responsibilities of the Leasing Specialist are: 1. Provide superior service to each prospective resident that includes thorough interviewing and showing as required. 2. Establish goals and meet or exceed the minimum production level required. 3. Preview and list apartment communities and update information in the office computer. 4. Market for prospects and follow- up on accounts receivable. 5. Learn the skills necessary to do the above and constantly work to improve. 6. Participate as a team member and follow the guidelines and policies established by the company. A Leasing Specialist is active in the sales process at Apartment Selector, actively assisting and directing each prospect through the leasing process. A Leasing Specialist is also active in marketing, pursuing and generating prospects. The successful Leasing Specialist knows the importance of time management and working in an active environment with a schedule that allows for prospects and others to depend upon him/her.
